I LOVE designing. In addition to my design skills and attention to detail, I provide you the ability to see the finished project before material procurement and construction begins. This is a valuable tool that can help prevent costly revisions and delays during construction. My expertise, passion, and excitement about creating beautiful, functional spaces will be apparent when you work with me.
I have loved architecture and design since I was in high school. When I was young, it always fascinated me to go to friend's houses and see different floor plans and decorating styles. As I grew older, I never lost that passion and excitement. A few months out of college and into my first architectural job at a Commercial Architecture firm, I convinced them to buy rendering software and led my firm in providing our clients with valuable marketing images. As I grew into a project manager, my organizational skills and drive helped me as I worked on complex projects and in high pressure situations. My 10 years working in the commercial field taught me a lot about professionalism, efficiency, working with jurisdiction for permitting, working with contractors and engineers, etc. I have been able to apply this knowledge and experience as I have moved into my focus of residential projects for the second half of my career.
Can't say enough good things about working with Lacie Audo, who was key to the successful rehab of an old, run-down house I'd bought.
The starting point was a small, cramped structure that had been oddly rejiggered over the years. Lacie came to the rescue with high-order skills as an architect and a wealth of practical experience.
Plus a gift for collaboration. She didn't just do things her way. She offered great ideas and listened closely to my input. Her final design was cost-effective (yay!). But beyond that, she was able to reshape a dark and awkward house into one that's open, welcoming, and kind of beautiful.
Having lived in the finished house for a year or so, I'm even more grateful for Lacie's professional expertise and her discipline, focus, and honesty. When you take a house down to the studs there's a lot at stake, with no guarantee of a happy ending. This project had a great outcome largely due to Lacie's involvement. It was fabulous luck to find her, and a pleasure to work with her, and now it's a real honor to recommend her.
I cannot recommend Lacie enough! She's quick, responsive, sensitive to her clients' needs, and cares deeply about her final product. We needed some updates to our ground floor and we needed someone to help us design our unfinished basement. I was at a loss with what to do with the space-knowing I didn't want run-of-the-mill and struggling to make the space multi-use which is what we needed. I gave Lacie some basic information and she took the lead from there! From the very beginning she knew which questions to ask so that our needs were met. She presented us with options, and the final product was SPECTACULAR. Seriously better than I could have imagined! We've been renovating as we can, using her plans to guide our contractors. Thanks for being so great to work with! Highly recommend her!
Lacie was so wonderful to work with! She assisted us in our master bathroom remodel. She was always quick to respond to all our questions. She was beyond patient through all the indecisiveness and was so helpful and kind through the whole process. Her models were super helpful to help us visualize the space. Our bathroom turned out amazing thanks to her expertise, recommendations and attention to details! We would highly recommend Lacie!
Working with Lacie on our basement remodel project was an outstanding experience from start to finish. She brought incredible creativity and attention to detail while making the entire process genuinely fun and collaborative. What could have been an overwhelming project felt exciting and well-organized thanks to her clear communication, professionalism, and thoughtful guidance at every step. The final design exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again.
Lacie was a joy to work with - fast, precise, and incredibly thoughtful. Her attention to detail and ability to truly listen really set her apart. Even as an architect myself, handing this off to Lacie was an easy (and very smart) decision, and she exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for high-quality design work with care and intention behind it.
